CAT 48 HP* Turbo Diesel Engine

• Ferris is back into the high-horsepower diesel market with the top-of-the-line CAT C1.7L turbo diesel engine. This market separating engine also has a a life expectancy between four-and-five-thousand hours (double that of gas engines), and that it’s rated at 48 gross horsepower (the highest for a zero-turn mower in its class) and 1700cc of grass dominating power.

Independent Suspension System

• Featuring the famous multi-patented Ferris independent suspension to deliver a smooth, consistent cut. Plus, the adjustable coil over shocks mean you can tune the suspension to maximize productivity and comfort.

On-Unit Computer Monitoring

• Interactive onboard computer that maintains and monitors the performance and operation of the mower for peak performance. The computer also ensures the proper engagement of components to extend the life of belts and clutch.

Hydraulic Deck Lift

• Hydraulic deck lift makes it easy to lift and lower the mower deck to achieve the optimal height-of-cut for the job at hand. Cut height ranges from 1.5-6 inches.

iCD' Cutting System

• The 72-inch iCD cutting system ensures every mowing component works together to achieve superior cut quality at higher speeds. With a 2-belt deck, engineered to extend belt live and reduce downtime.

Heavy Duty Components

• A hand-operated 450 ft lb Warner Electric clutch and a right angled Curtis© gearbox with dual 1" shafts harnesses more horsepower for a smoother and faster operation. Dual-commercial 21cc Hydro-Gear pumps and 20.6 cu inch Parker wheel motors with an external oil cooler.
